SILICA Named Supply Chain Partner of the Year

Specialist Distributor SILICA, an Avnet Company, has received the ultimate accolade from one of its key customers. Plexus, a world leader in the electronics manufacturing services industry awarding the UK Team with its “Semiconductor Supplier of the Year Award” and their “Supply Chain Partner of the Year Award” in recognition of its exceptional performance during last year.

Other recipients of awards were TTI, IP&E Distributor of the Year, Arrow Electronics,  Design Development and Prototype Supplier of the Year, Merlin Circuit Technology, PCB Supplier of the Year and Micron Technology, OEM Partner of the Year.

The awards, which are judged against a range of performance indicators that cover key issues such as pricing, delivery and customer service, have been presented to the Silica Team by Willie MacKinnon, UK Managing Director at Plexus’ annual award reception in Kelso.
